Hi,

I try to install the current mail toaster 5.04 in a jail on
a freebsd 6.1 stable version. Currently I'm struggling getting
the snmpd(ucd-snmp-4.2.6_5) running. (snmpd is running, but
does not give any results)

Does anyone have tips how to run the mail-toaster in a jail in gerneral?
Do I need to add "jail specific" toaster configurations?

For snmpd to work you need the proc filesystem mounted!
mount_procfs proc /jail/proc

I usually start snmpd with the -r parameter causing snmpd to
start even though it can't read several devices in /dev,
/dev/kmem for example. But you said it started but doesn't
answer? Try adding the jails IP to snmpd.conf, using "localhost"
doesn't work too reliable in a jail. Tail the snmpd.log, maybe
you can find out more there.
