Kinda OT: Stats gathering..

I'm in the process of building my second Toaster.  Although the first one is up and running spectacularly, it's also kind of messy (my own disorganization - it WAS my first attempt after all).

I installed AWStats quite some time ago to provide statistics for not only admin uses, but for each of our virtual hosts.  In looking for a good way to gather both proftpd and qmail stats, I discovered that AWStats will also log ftp usage AND qmail.  FTP stats was easy as pie to set up, but my question is...

Has anybody attempted to use AWStats for gathering stats into html on their Mail Toaster, and are there any caveats I should be aware of?  Or are you all using other stats software?

Since this is kinda OT, I figured it would best suited here, as opposed to on the mail list.

You mean like this:

http://www.tnpi.biz/cgi-bin/rrdutil.cgi" target="_blank">http://www.tnpi.biz/cgi-bin/rrdutil.cgi

It's now integrated as an optional toaster build item. It works well for overall stats, similar to what I'd expect you to end up with using AWstats. There's also Isoqlog (another "standard" toaster install) that produces detailed mail stats.

I haven't used AWstats for qmail log processing but I'd be interested to see some results of what it looks like. The last time I checked their site they didn't have a working example.

Although I really like the rrdutil graphs, I was thinking along the lines of something that our end users, as well as my boss  Wink , would find easier to understand.

Since I already have it running for our virtual webs and ftp users, I'd see if anyone has attempted it here.  It would be nice to provide a unified "look" to a comprehensive stats-output for users.
