Hi,

Does anyone know how to POP3 disable clear text auth when using a non secured connection?

I do understand that vpopmail can a -clear-text=y compile parameter but this relates to the format passwords are stored in the database.

--enable-clear-passwd=y ( store a clear text copy of users password )
This option helps sysadmins and help desk people. They find it helpful to be able to see the pasword the user should be using.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Antonio

Actually I guess I should just firewall port 110 right.

While POP-SSL remains open.
