qmail-monitor compatibility

Hello,

I noticed that qmail-monitor (by Steve Stallion) won't compile with net-qmail and the other patches that the toaster installs. Is there any other way to monitor outgoing e-mail messages? Or any other way to make qmail-monitor compatible with net-qmail? If I first install the qmail-monitor patches, net-qmail patches will not apply well. Otherwise, if i first install net-qmail patches, qmail-monitor patches will not apply well.

Any solution?

you want to research "qmailtap".

Edit out the two sections of the patch for qregex and then the patch will apply cleanly to netqmail.  It's included in the contrib directory of mail::toaster 4.0.6 (not out yet) and quite soon it'll be a toaster-watcher.conf build option.

i'm having some difficulty in installing qmail tap. compiling qmail will give an error on qregex.c about redefining matchregex. what if i completely remove the qregex portions of qmail-tap.diff ? will it work?

removed it, same error on qregex.c about redefining matchregex.
do you happen to have a copy of your qmail-tap.diff that works with net-qmail patches handy?
