No admin email / Maildrop not working / unsure about ClamAV

I have a working toaster which I can send and receive email with fine. I have however a couple of questions/issues -

I appear to be receiving no emails to my postmaster address at all. No admin stuff, bounces or anything. Why would this be? I have checked /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-* and all look ok.

Maildrop looks to be configured correctly, it's setup in toaster-watcher.conf. The mailfilter is present and correctly owned and my .qmail contains what I think it should. It doesn't seem to do anything though. Could it be that none of my spam gets this far? Would the spam already be deleted by this point if it appeared in rbl's etc.?

How do I now that virus scanning is working correctly? I can find no errors to suggest it isn't but have nothing in my quarantine, isn't this where they should be? I cannot see any mention of clamscan or variant thereof in /var/log/maillog, surely it would report things in here with spamd?

I'm really impressed with everything so far, but just feel slightly concerned that I'm seeing very little email, when I used to see alot (of spam), maybe this is just a sign that things are working only I need to know where to look to confirm this..
