If there's a single thing about the toaster you could change, what would it be?

The thing i would like is a single script.... so i'm at it for some time... who cares.... Fill in all the info in one session....... just one script... I know this is a problem ... if one script failed then the whole setup is ruined... but isn't there some solution  for this ?

Let me fill in all the blanks and then do a setup.. get my point ??
Why can't mailservers run IOS Wink

I hope this isnt too off-topic of an answer;

Ability to install without ANY issues with a blank freebsd installation.

I've tried this numerous times and I've allways had to end up getting help from someone. This is because I tend to have an ability to mess things up, but it would be nice.

(I know I'm only supposed to wish one thing, but toaster-setup.pl -upgrade > take a coffee break and come back with "Complete!" would be really, really nice.)

I would move the toaster config scripts into a single file.  I would also hack the mergemaster script to diff and merge the new config options when they appear Cool.

I would like to see it added to the freebsd ports, seems it is heading in that direction anyhow.

I agree it needs to install without issues. I've had to install several times now and not one went smooth. I think this is more an issue with FreeBSD's ports/packages system than anything else but getting a smooth install is pretty vital IMO.

I've installed the toaster 5 times ( Using 5.2.1 btw. ) and only had it mess up once and thats because I tried to install it over a previous install.

An install configuration menu would be kinda cool though. Other than that, it works great for me and I appreciate all your hard work. Thanks

i'd like greater control over which daemons to start. qmail provides its own pop3d daemon, which i don't want or need and especially don't want to run, since it doesn't offer ssl. courier-imap provides an ssl-enabled pop3 daemon and an imap daemon which works quite nicely.

a feature/question/whatever to have it create a mailserver jail and install itself into that jail and run shielded from the rest of the system would also be handy. Smile
