For what reasons did you choose to use Mail::Toaster?

We started an ISP fresh out of the box about 5 years ago. I had come from a transport background (Roadtrains Perth-Sydney)  and little to no knowledge on anything ISP.

We started of by using Exchange 5.5 and NT4.0 (still running) for our memebrs. Eventually as time went on and we started hosting we obviously needed to include email services for our hosting. We started using Exchange but that can be costly.

I had heard about qmail and stumbled my way through a couple of test boxes without any luck at all.

I'm not sure where I actually found the toaster but I'm glad I did. Matt's toaster has not only helped streamline the email hosting side of our business but it has also taught me loads about FreeBSD.

Thanks from very happy camper

i was looking for an interesting project to learn the ins and outs fbsd with, i needed a mail server, and i like the fact that it's called a toaster.  i had troubles with qmailrocks, and by the time i happened across the qmail toaster i decided "damnite, i'm going to MAKE THIS WORK"

the first step to learning anything! (for me, anyway.. Wink )
