Title: Error when choosing pop server
Post by: LogicX on February 26, 2007, 05:18:47 AM
so if one chooses dovecot for pop -- they're inundated with emails with this error:

NOTICE: Not enabled due to configuration settings.

as generated by /usr/local/sbin/toaster-watcher.pl

As far as I can tell its because I did not leave the pop settings at default in toaster-watcher, and instead changed to the new dovecot.  (this is in MT 5.05)

toaster-watcher.pl -v shows:
supervise_dir_get: using /var/qmail/supervise/pop3 for pop3
NOTICE: Not enabled due to configuration settings.

Although helpful in that respect, once I'm aware that supervise isn't handling my pop, because I need to handle it through rc.conf and the respective program I've chosen; we need some way to disable that notice?

Matt has fixed this in 5.06.

Hi LogicX,

Did you migrate from Courier POP3 to Dovecot on the same server?

Thanks,
