Post by: GrZeCh on September 15, 2006, 04:46:10 AM
Hello!

I'm just wondering about DIY .mac and legall issues. Is this legall to make MacOS think that he is connecting to oryginall Apple servers?

Regards and thank You

On my own network, I can set up whitehouse.gov to resolve to my own servers and it's perfectly legal. As long as don't sell my network services and then quietly hijack users traffic, there are no legality issues.

I'm asking because I was wondering about starting a local .mac service in my .. lets say country but I thinked about this a while and thats why I asked this question.

So I just want to be sure .. selling DIY .mac services is illegal and there is no possibility to make it legal?

Thanks
