Hi Fellas,

I have a good buddy of mine who is a computer wizzard (sys/net engineer) and i'd like to make a christmas gift for him.

Any sugegstions are great Smile

Hrmmm, the top 10 things that sys/net engineers never get enough of:

1. bandwidth
2. computing resources (fast CPU, disk space, RAM, etc).
3. Cisco routers
4. Dual G5 PowerMac
5. iPod

oh wait, you said "make"....

6. Dig a trench to the nearest fibre loop interconnect
7. one handed edibles (anything that can be consumed while still mousing with the second hand).
8. anything that says "some assembly required" on the box
9. PIX source code. Not only will he be happy, he'll be very impressed.
10. enough liquid oxygen to cook a steak in 0.3 seconds.

Thanks a bunch! That was a good list of possible gifts!

computer resources - thats what i'm gonna go with.

ipod would be sweet but i'm drooling to get one for myself - when the price is right Very Happy
