Hi,

I've got a mail-toaster with FreeBSD7 installed on a pair of gmirrored devices.
How do I teach RRDutil about that?
I tried updating rrdutil.conf with
monitor1  = localhost, disk,      gm0,        disk_gm0
but I get:
UpdateDiskActivitySNMP: searching for disk gm0 ................... FAILED

Does that actually work out of the box?

Why would you do such a crazy thing?   ;)

[root@jails] /home/matt # df
Filesystem         1K-blocks     Used    Avail Capacity  Mounted on
/dev/mirror/gm0s1a    253678    61692   171692    26%    /
/dev/mirror/gm0s1d  12186190   600474 10610822     5%    /var
/dev/mirror/gm0s1e   1012974     8864   923074     1%    /tmp
/dev/mirror/gm0s1f   5077038  2770856  1900020    59%    /usr
/dev/mirror/gm0s1g 118477164 35129842 73869150    32%    /home

[root@jails] /home/matt # gmirror status
      Name    Status  Components
mirror/gm0  COMPLETE  da0
                      da2

Same reason as I?  I just configure mine this way:

monitor1  = jails.tnpi.net, disk,      da0,        disk_da0
monitor2  = jails.tnpi.net, disk,      da1,        disk_da1
monitor3  = jails.tnpi.net, disk,      da2,        disk_da2

and the results show up here:
