Unix Systems Engineering

systems engineer n. a systems engineer is one who designs and builds compter and network systems. A systems engineer identifies business needs and designs and builds computing systems appropriate for meeting those needs.

Mail Systems Engineering

Our primary niche. We have been building email servers since 1992 and this constitutes 80% of our work. We build and manage many systems and the rest are pre-build systems per a pre-designed plan. We build them and turn them over to their long term admins.

The systems we designed marry the best of the available technologies and then fill in the gaps with custom software we develop. All the software we write is offered back to the community at no charge.

DNS Systems Engineering

Because mail systems performance is so closely married to DNS, it became necessary for us to also be experts in DNS and DNS systems. We have immense experience with DNS systems of nearly every type in enviroment, from a small organization with one split-horizon DNS server to the data center of the worlds largest web hosting company. We know the capabilities and limits of every DNS server and can advise you on how to best meet your DNS needs.

Unix Systems Engineering

We engineer nearly all our systems around Unix technologies because of their extreme reliability, minimal system requirements, ease of maintenance, and proven security.
